The Pushkin's Ladies collection is my reinterpretation of traditional folklore and the creation of a prototype of the heroine of a Russian fairy tale with the help of textile art.
The idea of the collection was born during my trip to Nizhny Novgorod and the Boldino estate. Inspired by traditional Russian landscapes and the spirit of Pushkin's fairy tales, I began developing the concept of the panel. The collection acquired its final shape after a trip to the Golden Ring, when I visited a workshop for the production of crystal products. Elegant crystal kokoshniks became the basis for creating images of female heroines.
There are 3 wall panels in the collection: «Lady-madam», «Lady-bride» and «Lady-peasant». It was important for me to show filled and «alive» Russian heroines: strong, gentle, proud and deep. These panels will become not just an interior decoration, but also a source of inspiration — a part of the world that preserves the warmth of the Russian soul.
